Wallace Russell
Wallace was born a twin in Mississippi in 1948, sons of a Police Chief and a registered nurse. He graduated from the University of Mississippi and worked in Memphis, Tennessee for 19 years as a Certified Public Accountant. He has since moved back to his hometown to work with his twin brother – both are accountants.
Among his hobbies, Wallace collects old cars. He took his 1965 Ford Falcon to his high school reunion in 2006. He has also enjoyed working as an extra in “Miss Firecracker” and “My Dog Skip,” two movies that were shot in or near his hometown in Mississippi.
Wallace has always loved listening to music, and in 2002 he began writing lyrics when an idea for a song came to him. He counts The Beatles, Burt Bacharach, Hal David, Marilyn McCoo, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride and Taylor Swift as his primary musical influences. He continues to write lyrics and songs. Wallace and his twin brother keep busy as certified public accountants, but when he has more time, Wallace wants to complete his research and then write a screenplay based on a Mississippi true event.
