Ted Franklin

I was born in Bryan, Texas on January 18, 1937. When I was 10 we moved to Houston, and at the age of 17 I joined the US Army and was stationed in Baumholder, Germany with the 2nd Armored Division, 16th Field. In 1990 I started writing poems and then lyrics for songs. Country and Gospel are my favorite kinds of music, and Hank Williams Sr. is still my favorite singer. I live in Oklahoma now and enjoy fishing, walking and of course, writing lyrics for songs.
