Shontay Stephens

We are proud to include Shontay Stephens in our family of Songwriters. She lives in New York state. Her favorite music is R & B, and her favorite singer is Whitney Houston, but we'll let Shontay tell you who she is in her own words:

"My name is Shontay Camillia Stephens. I was born on July 9, 1978 and raised by a single mom in New York City. Growing up I had to face many trials in life, early on my love for writing became both escape and salvation for me. It helped me to learn how to believe in myself and heal at the same time. One thing that my life story taught me is to never give up on a dream."
