Mike Shaver

When I was young I dated cheerleaders and models, but at the age of 24 I fell from a 90-foot bluff. The Doctors at the hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee didn’t give my parents much hope for my survival. Then, when I awoke from a 5-day coma, they said I would never walk again. Seems like every time they said I wouldn’t do something ever again, I did it. I had to relearn everything from dressing myself to driving, but with God’s help I can conquer anything. The Doctors said I would never walk, but a couple of years ago I won the Eastern USA 200lb weight class in Power Lifting. With God’s help I could be a Rock Star, or a model, or an actor, or a comedian, or maybe all of the above. Anything is possible through GOD!

I have written 18 songs, 10 of which have been produced in Nashville and Hollywood. I have always written songs. I started writing way back in high school. I’m in my 30’s now, and I’m singing with a band. I think I’m stuck in a time warp though, because just the other day at Hooter’s, a girl came up to me who I had known back in High School, and she asked me if I had a girlfriend.
