Marlene Ellis

I was born and raised in the hills of West Virginia. I am a retired Real Estate Broker and county government employee. I married Ted Ellis, a retired teacher and coach who has served in the West Virginia House of Delegates. We have four children, Mark, Tammi, Eric and Stacy, all college graduates. I have been inspired to write nearly 70 Gospel songs since 1986, many of which I have sung in church. I love expressing my feelings about my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and I do this through my Gospel music. I have also written a number of articles for my church where I am a Sunday school teacher, soloist, choir leader and mission representative. My favorite singer is Vince Gill. I would love to have Vince sing one of my songs. That would be a dream come true.
