Marjorie Darcene Person

My name is Marjorie Darcene Person. I was born in Washington County to Miss Helen Person. I’m divorced with two daughters. One of my joys is writing. I love it. I remember at a very young age my mother and her two older sisters would go into a room and sing hymn after hymn. It didn’t matter if they were happy or sad, they would still sing. I got it from them. I learned how to turn my ups and downs into praise and my praise into songs. That’s the gift they gave me. Don’t let nothing or no one get you down. Just keep your eyes on God.
