Joyce Crockett

My maiden name is Joyce Thomas. I was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts to Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Thomas. I started to write lyrics as a child when I stayed with the Hardy's. I still remember some of the songs. When I was a teenager I sang a couple of songs that I wrote to the pranksters making prank phone calls to me. Then I decided to be the prank caller and would randomly sing my songs to people over the phone. Even though I don't appreciate pranks as a grown up, writing lyrics isn't just for kids, so I still sing my old ones and write a couple of new ones once in awhile. After all, the new ones make me feel like I'm keeping up with the present.
