Joseph A. Data

I was born in November of 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. I played the trumpet in my high school band and have been a percussionist since age 15. I learned to play the guitar along the way and have been writing songs for many years. Playing music and writing songs has always been a passion in my life. I am fortunate to have known many wonderful people, and I have been privileged to count among them some very talented musicians from whom I have learned a great deal. But most of all, I am blessed to have people in my life who support and encourage me. And when one of my songs touches a person’s heart or makes someone smile, then I have given back to the world a small part of what the world has given to me.
