I was born in April of 1973 during a record-breaking snowstorm in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I’m an only child of a single Mom. She used to tell me, “we may not be rich in money, but we’re rich in love.” I carry those words with me always.
I’ve been writing since childhood keeping journals and diaries. Writing is a great release and more; it’s almost an uncontrollable passion. I follow my heart and start writing whatever comes to me when it comes. I’ve had two poems published, and now I’m focused on my songs. I plan to write a book someday.
I adopted a three-year old son in August of 2008, and he keeps me busy. What a blessing he is! I love to be outdoors, tent camping or vegetable gardening. I also love cooking, playing poker, dancing and simply living life with my family.
I love music. Being an Administrative Assistant enables me to listen to the radio all day, and I certainly do. I change the station with my mood. I love all styles of music, everything from Country to Hip Hop. Some of my favorites include Melissa Etheridge, Nickelback, India Arie, Alicia Keys, Sugarland, Bob Marley and B.B. King.
My dream is to hear one of my songs on the radio and see how people connect with it. Hopefully, just as I connect with so many of the songs I hear. Music is magic.
