G. Milton Luttrell

Songwriter G. Milton Luttrell began playing saxophone when he was in the sixth grade. In high school he joined the band and studied saxophone with Eddie Collis and Everett L. Roberts, bandmaster.

In college Mr. Luttrell formed several dance bands including The Enchanters who backed up stars on tour including Conway Twitty, Skip & Flip and Freddy Cannon. At Florida State University he formed The Saxons and played professionally with The Pyramids.

Mr. Luttrell has written and published two books of poetry and prose and musical lyrics and has been included in several national and foreign anthologies. He was a former distinguished member of the International Society of Poets.
