Aneta Ziegler
Music has played a part throughout Aneta’s entire life. Her father sang in the church choir and her mother played the piano. At the end of grade school Aneta fell ill, and the doctor told her that she must stay in bed for at least 6 months. It was 2 years before she could return to school. While in bed the radio was her constant companion, and she was listening to music. Gospel and Country are her favorite musical genres, and Bill Gaither ranks right up there as one of her favorite singers.
Aneta finished high school and college and taught school for four years. She married Lloyd Ziegler in 1949 and when her father retired, Lloyd took over the farm. Over the years the Zieglers welcomed 5 children into their family. In 1961 Aneta returned to the classroom and taught first graders for twenty-six years.
“The Lord brought many blessings into my life for which I am thankful. However, I have lived a troubled life and shed many tears. Eventually I stopped crying and started singing.” Aneta also started writing songs – praising her God with inspiring words and beautiful music.
