Allen L. Cunningham

I am an ex-Marine, a retired federal law enforcement officer and a licensed and ordained minister. I majored in Psychology and minored in Criminal Justice in college, graduating from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.

I turned my hobby of raising horses into a business. I have owned and trained many Quarter horses, Paints, Thoroughbreds and Appaloosas. I’ve enjoyed the numerous friends I’ve made in my professional life as well as in my hobbies.

I am thankful to HillTop Records for their role in turning my poems into songs and in doing so, enabling others to experience the thoughts and experiences that I expressed in my lyrics. I also appreciate the other HillTop songwriters whose works are an inspiration to me.

My main drive now is to share the Gospel. I still ride horses recreationally. And I love watching the bull riders of the PBR. It is a super exciting sport watching these young men compete at the highest level.
